John Angus, Chairman – has specialized in the field of Business Turnaround Management for over 25 years. He possesses a wide variety of hands-on business experience including senior marketing positions in Alcan and as CEO of numerous companies in sectors as diverse as metal distribution, franchising, chemical, medical, electronics, environmental, logistics, deep sea operations, not for profit and financial. John is the president of Stonehenge Corporation and is also a board member of a number of public and private companies including, the Institute for Public Affairs of Montreal and Extendicare Inc. John is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
JJ Elkin, Chief Executive Officer & President – is an international business entrepreneur who has been CEO at a number of publicly traded companies. This included chairmanship of TVX ( a gold and silver mining company formerly listed on the TSX with assets in Brazil and Chile). In finance, he worked for Fidelity Management and Research (Boston and Bermuda) as an analyst and international portfolio manager. His formal education includes degrees from McGill and Harvard (MBA) and he is a CFA.
Robert Hanson – Founder of Sheltered Oak Resources with 44 years of experience in corporate finance Has financed and acted as a director for a number of junior resource and technology companies.
Ken Hight – has over 30 years of experience working in global institutional financial markets. Mr. Hight acted as the Global Head of Securities of Liquidnet Holdings, Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of Liquidnet Canada, Inc. from March 2008 to Sept 2009. His financial industry experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer and President of ITG Canada Corp., Deputy Chair and Head of Global Equities of TD Securities, and a member of the Executive Committee of ITG Inc. Mr. Hight is the former Executive Vice-President of E*TRADE Capital Markets where he was responsible for global institutional business, Chief Executive Officer of E*TRADE Canada.
Dr. Norman Betts, FCA, PHD – is a former Minister of Finance and Minister of Business for the New Brunswick government. He is an Associate Professor at University of New Brunswick (Faculty of Business Administration) and a Fellow of the New Brunswick Institute of Chartered Accountants. Dr. Betts is currently a director of a number of publicly listed resource-based companies and is the Chairman of Starfield Resources Inc. (TSX: SRU).
Peter Hubacheck, PGeo – is a Consulting Geologist and the President of W.A. Hubacheck Consultants Ltd. He has 35 years of experience as an project geologist, exploration manager and Qualified Person for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101, with experience in the exploration for gold, silver, base metals, uranium and diamonds in Canada and the USA. He holds a Mining Technologist (1974) diploma from the Haileybury School of Mines and Technology, Haileybury, Ontario and a B.A.Sc. (Geol. Eng. 1977) degree from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Rapid City, South Dakota. Mr. Hubacheck is currently on the board of Sheltered Oak Resources Corp. and Plato Gold Corp., his past directorships include Agnico-Eagle Mines Ltd. And Contact Diamond Corporation.
